The Cattleman and The Farm Officer

There was a cattleman who had hundreds of cows in his backyard. He made a quite large cage so that all the cows could get into.

One day, a farm officer visited him. He asked, “what do you give to these cows every day?”

The cattleman replied, “I give them grass”.

The officer said loudly, “You are a cruel owner, you do not give them a proper food, you have to pay 2 million rupiah as a charge”.

The cattleman then gave the money with annoyance.

A few weeks later, the officer came back. He asked, “What do you give to these cows?”

The farmer proudly replied, “I give them a delicious meal, I feed my cow milk and hamburgers, even a few days ago I bought them Pizza”.

The officer quickly argued, “You have to pay 3 million rupiah”.

The cattleman replied, “Why? I have treated all cows with good way, right?”.

Again, the officer agued, “you have treated all these cows beyond the reasonable ways ”.

Angrily, the cattleman got into the house and took the money then handed to the officer.

For several weeks, the cattleman thought a plan on how to overcome this problem. Finally he got a brilliant idea!

In a morning, the farm workers came back. He asks, “how are you sir? What have you feed to these cows?”

The cattleman loudly replied, “I have given them money and every cow gets 5000 rupiah, of course it’s up to them to eat everything they want, they surely can choose the most appropriate food”.

The officers eventually was silent and fell confused to answer.
